FlyerMail Gets Greener - September 8, 2010
Beginning in September, FlyerMail will be printing all of our flyers on FSC-certified paper. This will give FlyerMail and our advertisers peace of mind that we are doing our part to help our environment. When you see the FSC 'check-tree' logo, you can be guaranteed that all the standards have been met.
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international certification and labelling system that guarantees that the forest products we purchase come from responsibly managed forests and verified recycled sources.
FSC is a voluntary and market-based mechanism for ensuring that our forests are healthy. Consumer demand for FSC- certified products encourages forest managers and owners to become FSC certified. FlyerMail is always improving the greening of our products and we will continue to do our part for the environment.
We feel that even though going green costs a little more, if we don't do it, it's going to cost more than we can afford.
